The Ordinary Retinol 0.2% in Squalane 30ml

Retinol 0.2% in Squalane is an entry level retinol serum suspended in squalane — a lightweight and non-comedogenic oil that helps minimise the potential irritation often associated with retinol use. Retinol is a Vitamin A derivative widely considered one of the most effective and well researched anti-ageing ingredients in skincare.

At 0.2% concentration this formula is ideal for those new to retinol or those with skin that is sensitive to stronger retinol concentrations. Regular use helps visibly reduce fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin texture, boost collagen production and promote healthy skin cell turnover.

Squalane as the base ingredient provides additional moisturisation and helps the retinol absorb evenly into the skin without causing excessive dryness or peeling.

Best suited for normal, dry and combination skin types. Ideal for beginners to retinol. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

How to use: Apply a few drops to clean dry skin in the evening only after water based serums. Start with 2-3 times per week and gradually increase frequency as skin adjusts. Always use SPF every morning without exception when using retinol. Avoid using on the same night as AHAs, BHAs or Vitamin C.
