The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA 30ml

Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA is a water-based serum that combines a high concentration of alpha arbutin with hyaluronic acid to target hyperpigmentation, dark spots and uneven skin tone. Alpha arbutin is a highly stable and effective skin brightening ingredient that works by inhibiting the enzyme responsible for melanin production — the pigment that causes dark spots and discolouration.

Unlike some brightening ingredients that can cause irritation, alpha arbutin is gentle enough for all skin types including sensitive skin. The addition of hyaluronic acid provides simultaneous hydration while the alpha arbutin works to even out skin tone.

This serum is particularly effective for post-acne marks, sun spots, melasma and general uneven skin tone. Results are visible with consistent use over 4-8 weeks.

How to use: Apply a few drops to clean dry skin morning and night before moisturiser. Can be layered with other The Ordinary serums. Use SPF every morning without exception as sun exposure can worsen hyperpigmentation.
